Lent…

Lent is a time to walk with Jesus as He journeys toward the cross to die for our sins. It’s a time to get to know Him better, to see Him through the words of Holy Scripture. It’s a time to reflect upon our own lives and our relationship with God.

Jesus once said, “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me” (Mark 8:34). Lent is an opportunity to focus on Jesus Christ, rather than ourselves.

During the time of Lent we have six Wednesday evening services to help us grow. The services are at 7:30 PM, and last about 40 minutes.

Our theme for the midweek services is…

“Overheard – Conversations by the Cross”

Each week we will listen in on conversations between those who witnessed the Passion of Christ. The conversations are dramatic. They also will be able to connect us personally to Christ through His sacrifice.

Each weekend, beginning on March 12/13, our services will focus on the theme,

“What Does Jesus Mean to Me?”

We will have the opportunity to ponder how Jesus touched the lives of different people in their specific situations. We will be able to know Jesus as He made Himself known to others.

May this Lenten Season be for you a time of spiritual renewal.
